Hey guys -- just wanted to let you all know that we have JLT True Cold Air Kits in stock and ready for immediate delivery. All the kits in stock are gloss black -- the body colored option is $25 and adds 2 days to processing time.
All of our product prices are shipped to your door.
2001 Cobra- What is the difference between the JLT True RAM Air Intake and the JLT CAI, does this one perform better. Very interested in getting one of these.
What's your shipping time to San Diego, CA? If I place order today, will it go out today, 10/07/06?
Thanks,
Markus

Hey Markus!
Thanks for your order. We appreciate it!
We do ship orders out the same day during the week. If it's ordered on the weekends, we'll ship it out on Monday as UPS doesn't have regular service during that time.
Our UPS ground shipping time to CA is 5-6 days.
We sold the last one of the kits you ordered on Thursday and placed an order for more. They will be here tomorrow and I will increase the shipping level at our cost, of course, so you do not lose any time.
Thanks again!
Let me know if I can answer any questions or be of any help!
Hey Markus, Sorry for the delay.
It is going out tomorrow via UPS 2nd Day Air, I promise. For some reason the shipment had a rescheduled delivery and is scheduled to be here tomorrow (I'll PM you the details). You'll have it in your hands on Tuesday, the same date you would have had it if it was shipped ground on Monday.
Again, sorry about that but it was just the perfect storm of events causing this kit to be out of stock. But, you'll have it in CA on Tuesday, that's a promise.
Hey bud, I got the intake kit in yesterday (Tuesday), installed it, runs great! I can feel a difference, as much as I would expect from an intake. Installation was pretty tough because the sun was going down. But overall, it it a huge tube and you can hear the air sucking through. One question, the glossy black tube is touching and is really close to to the grey part of the engine, which gets really hot, is it going to melt?
And, is this intake kit California street legal? Just wanted to know, because I would need that smog sticker to pass, otherwise I will have to put the stock kit back in.
Thanks for your help,
Oh yeah, how much can you get the Magnaflow Exhaust kit and/or Borla kit for? I am interested in these two. Also want to buy Eibach springs, maybe the pro kit. Can you give me a quote on these 3 items.
Thanks again,
Markus Wells

Hey Markus!
Yes, it will be OK -- That area doesn't get really hot, being the cam cover. You're right, the tube is pretty big!
I don't know yet if they have received CARB I asked them and will let you know what the deal is when I find out. I don't believe they are CARB exempt so you might have to put on the stock setup. I'm not too familiar with the smog test there, but I assume they'd definitely notice the CAI?
I have both exhaust kits -- The Magnaflow (15644) is $539.95 Shipped to you, the Borla, depending on which one you'd rather (Aggressive tone or standard) - The Aggressive (140052) is the one I currently have in stock and it's $726.99 shipped to you.
The Eibach springs are part# 3590-140 and are $269.95 shipped to you. Also, they're all in stock and I can have them to you within 3 days of your order.
Hello Markus -- I just got the word from JLT -- they don't plan on going through the CARB certification process, so you probably will have to reinstall your OEM intake. Will they notice it if you don't? Not having seen the CA process, I don't know how it works.
