Folks, this weekend my teammate Doug Foley crashed his top fuel dragster in Toronto in the final against Clay Millican. He is in good condition, and was airlifted to a nearby hospital. My heart goes out to he and his wife.

Rick, I read about this yesterday made me sick to my stomach. I'll take your word that he is doing good (you would know first hand) before the speculation starts, like it did about Litton's condition after his crash. From the pics it looks like he went straight on into the wall thank god his legs were not damage or worse anything else.. Boy this is just too crazy to think, that when Bruce Litton crashed it was the Foley/Lewis team that helped get his car back into the pit stall when it came in off the flat bed and we were talking about how all this stuff can happen and how quick it can happen and than the very next race it happens.. Damn Rick you be carefull out there. I know its way to early to be saying this, but I hope Doug can rebound quickly to continue his quest for the IHRA championship. Please keep us updated Thanks

The update on Doug's condition is he has a broken leg, a partially seperated shoulder, and a concussion. He won't be in maryland for the president's cup this weekend, but I will. He should be just fine, just needs a little healing time.
