I am in the market to trade my 03 convert in for a hardtop and wanted your opinion. Truthfully, I'm not happy with the way my cobra is coming out. Anyhow, I came across an 04 Competition Orange Cobra with 9,442 miles and is bone stock, right down to the factory air filter and Eagle F1's. It's flawless inside and out. They are asking $33,000 for it. Do you think that's too much? Also, I wanted your opinions on the color and production #'s if you know them. Thanks.
I guess I'm not feeling the yellow or the convert top anymore. And when I added the black rims, I think it threw it way off. Mechanically she's great. The pic isn't the best quality, but at night I can see all the flaws and paint swirls on her.
Thats a heck of a price. I live in East Texas and have a trade in though. I found that there are only 281 made. I like the color and the darker suade inserts in the seats. I'm going to look at it this weekend. I'm not sure if I'll get it. Kinda feel like an ungreatful bas**rd right now.

Willy, the 04 is a hardtop. My current car is the vert. As to Dan's option, I guess i'm not into the color anymore and I'm tired of the top. I never should have gotten a convert in the first place. Willy's looks bad ass, but for some reason mine doesn't look like I want it too. I agree, its the rims.
I had the exact same thought. I thought about getting black bullitts with a deep lip in the back. I finally got my certificate from SVT and it says that it was delivered to a N.Y. dealership. One thing I noticed is that the bottom of the car, mainly the side skirts, are in bad shape. I dont know what salt or snow damage looks like, but they're pretty scratched and beaten up. No one can see them, but I know and thats the same to me. Maybe someone from the North East can tell me what the damage looks like if a car goes through the snow or salt. I'm going to Dallas this weekend to look around so I'll let you know what they say.
I went to Dallas and saw the Orange Cobra. I almost cried!!! In the pics, the car looked brand new. When I got there, it was so dirty, the front bumper was out of alignment, and something was wrong with the engine and they cant figure it out. When I lifted the hood up, all of the spark plugs and coils were out, the power steering resivoir was hanging down, and the MAF was hanging around unbolted. The sales rep said they think the MAF went out and they were changing it. For having only 9.5K miles, someone sure did give her a beating. I'd like to give him/her a beating. I walked away in disappointment. They did show me a beautiful black Roush, maybe 2006, but I'm not willing to give up power. I told them if they put a new engine in her, I'd give them 31K. Doubt it would happen though.
