I just got my 01 Cobra about 1 and half weeks ago, been driving around looking for other fast cars, I have two friends that have 06 WRX's, they have some engine mods. I must say, they are pretty quick off the line, but after getting up to about 3rd, my friend said he was flooring it and I passed him very easy, while that was happening a 750 decided to grow some balls and he got smoked by all of us.
Yesterday, I was at Pep Boys and two S2000's all raced out with stickers and rims and all that crap were in the parking lot, luckily we all left at the same time, we were at a light to go right, all one behind the other, I was last. As we turned on the highway, I pulled up next to them and we starting going at it, I was gone in about 2 seconds, about 4 car lengths ahead of those ****s.
Just thought I would share my experience's with my fellow mustangers.
Are you serious? You won't beat a 750? Do you have an 01 or 03? Cause if you have an 03, I know for a fact you will beat a 750. I have an 01, completely stock.
It wasn't a brand new 750, but it wasn't old, probably 2002 or so, but I was running with two of my friends with 06 WRX's and we pulled to a red light and then all of sudden the 750 pulls up and starts to rev at all three of us, so once it turned green we all started to gun it and the 750 kept up for about 1 second, but then we were all gone.
You must not be shifting right, cause I am not the best shifter and I was gone.
Well that is what happened, we all could hear his engine hitting hard. It's not like we were messing with him, he pulled up to us and starting messing with us, in turn, we starting pushing and we were gone.
No way it was a 750 unless it was a crusier.. I can beat 600 sport bikes, 750cc is a differnt story. My dad has a 750 honda shadow and i can beat him. SO either he was just toying with yall or took off in 4th gear.

i beat i motor bike it had no stickers on it 600 or 750 dunno.it had single pipe and was yellow it was a c/ rocket , he came revving up on side of me at 75mph. i down shifted in to 4th and stood on it. i pulled him, them later the cane up to me agian,so i did it agian 75 to 140 mph. i beat him again he was about 4 lenghts behind me , i thought he was playing with me. i was told that the 600s are maxed out at 75mph roll, i dunno. he came up on me 1 more time before his exit came up.he had it and i lower gear this time , goosing the throttle, my wife hit me and said thats enought. we were racing on interstate.one time i had to weave back and forth though traffic, it was great. dunno could it have been a 750 ? dunno.

well lets clarify what he meant by 750. croch rocket or a cruiser bike????? What company was the bike. I imagining your going just the numbers on the side but, suzuki, honda, what???? Did you beat him up to 20mph??? More info please.
Guys do you think he is talking about the BMW 750? I have GSX-R 750, I go 0-60 in about 3.8 - 4.0 give or take and I am an amture rider. There is no Way an 01 Cobra or a WRX for that matter is going to run with a GSX-R. Hell, 03-04 Terminators are not going to beat a GSX-R off the line. Dude that guy was messing with ya'll. You need to be more specific by what you mean by 750?!?!?

Stock 600cc sportbikes run 10s. Sport Rider took a stock GSX-R750 and ran 10.36 (only 0.08 faster than my 636 :D ) and that was an 04, 06s should be a little quicker. Of course it's all dependent on the rider.

you can not beat 600cc crotch rockets.
I was gonna just leave it at that, but come on man, ur probably just hitting 11.9x with ur mods if ur driving perfectly. an 02 r6 will hit midlow 10s if driven well, high 10s if driven by an amature. U can not beat 600cc crotch rockets.

maybe he was talking about the bmw..... and he didnt specify what kind of wrx.... but with a stock 01 cobra an STI would probably walk away. unless of course it wasnt driven right, like most wrx's arent.

Those cars are hella fast off the line, but I have seen these drivers launch those AWD cars at like 3000-3500 RPM and wonder why they bog at the line. You got to rev the crap out of them. At lease to 6G's and then drop the clutch to get a decent lauch out those cars. They are fast no doubt but at the min it's a drivers race between an 01 Cobra and EVO/STI drivers. Even thats only till about 3rd 4th gear and then the Cobra should start to pull. Non STI WRX (Stock) cannot run with any Cobra. I do not think that any 99/01 Cobra (Stock)can run with a 750cc Sport Bike.
