View Full Version : CS6 Video Rogue24 09-24-2006, 08:48 PM Hey guys I found this video about the CS6, click on it if your interested. http://www.mustangtv.com/video/31 Horrific_Ending 09-24-2006, 08:55 PM i wish they would start it up so we can hear what it sounds like. petepete 09-24-2006, 08:56 PM that things sick still waiting for my cs6 grille to come jerseystang07 09-24-2006, 11:29 PM im in love...end of story Pyrat 09-24-2006, 11:41 PM Yeah, me too, but there have been issues in getting the parts. I called Hillbank on a CS6 part twice on Friday, they were suppose to call me back on both occasions, but I never heard from them. tacatc 09-25-2006, 04:35 AM I don't suppose anyone has an extra $15K they don't need? I want the whole kit! I'd be willing to pay you back $2 a month. Think about, you and your children would have income for life. LOL That is one awsome ride. I love the fact that Shelby is including the V6'ers. Rogue24 09-25-2006, 03:26 PM Pyrat, Did you get any parts yet? I’m waiting on the whole appearance kit and haven’t received any parts. Pyrat 09-25-2006, 03:37 PM I contacted them on Friday (9/22/06) about the rear end. Called twice and they were suppose to call me back each time but never did. I'm starting to wonder about these guys. Did you see the post from Canadian Driver on their forum? To quote Jack Sparrow, "Not good!" Edit: When you get your order, let me know. I'm interested in how long it takes. Good luck... Rogue24 09-25-2006, 03:39 PM Yea, I saw his post, I’m a little worried b/c I have a pony package grill... At least they gave me a window to expect parts. The nest 2-5 weeks. bztz4m 09-25-2006, 03:44 PM Well I have the biggest part in for my mock CS6 I have the VORTECH V-2 intercooled supercharger installed and running. I would love to get a few Shelby bages for it. local://upfiles/11418/EFFF2CA161A34FF6A9CD7CCC10B5BCBF.jpg local://upfiles/11418/A0031849025F4362B14B6FF317FBAC84.jpg local://upfiles/11418/C11D7CD3992044BA9C2FD2765FBE2815.jpg local://upfiles/11418/E2F14726AFBD4CF693E2CF2784697EBD.jpg Pyrat 09-25-2006, 03:45 PM Actually if you are getting the PIAA lights your Pony Package wiring harness might make it easier. If not, get a heavy duty zip lock freezer bag Put it over the Pony Package fog light connectors and use a wire tie to secure it around the wire leads, then trim off the excess plastic bag so it looks clean. That way if you decide to add the PIAA lights later you'll be in good shape and if not you won't need to worry about moisture getting into the connectors. Pyrat 09-25-2006, 03:50 PM I've kind of got an issue with running their logo if I don't have their stuff on the car, but that's just me, to each his own. The trunk lettering is available on their site as is the grill which I understand is minus the PIAA lights, but has the lettering. I have heard the stripe kit is available, but haven't seen it on the web site. Rogue24 09-25-2006, 03:52 PM Yea, I got the lights. I hope the grill comes pre-cut and with good instructions. Pyrat 09-25-2006, 03:54 PM Do me a favor, photo document everything from receiving to finished installation. I'd be REAL interested in seeing that. Rogue24 09-25-2006, 03:54 PM If I ever get my parts I might consider ordering the supercharger, untill then we'll see what happens. Rogue24 09-25-2006, 03:55 PM Sure will, I'll post here and shelbyautos. Pyrat 09-25-2006, 03:57 PM The SC, being a Paxton part, might actually be less of a hassle to get. But it is a lot of denero, so I'd be real sure about the shipment date before I put down the cash. bztz4m 09-25-2006, 03:58 PM Yeah I know what you mean about running a Shelby logo on our cars but since the car can't be build and they are selling the parts for us to install they should issue a certificate stating that the car is built with Shelby parts. So that people seeing the Shelby logo on your car will know it is the real deal or as close as we can get it. Rogue24 09-25-2006, 04:02 PM bztz4m, Is your supercharger from shelby? bztz4m 09-25-2006, 04:23 PM It is a Vortech but Vortech and Paxton are the same company with about the same prices for the supercharger but be prepared for some heavy labor costs to install. Rogue24 09-25-2006, 06:25 PM Check out this Shelby hood from popping the hood with the hood pins in. Its the same hood that is sold for the cs6... local://upfiles/49137/8F71C0775C224B618C99454E85F0EADC.jpg Pyrat 09-25-2006, 06:26 PM Interesting, that explains why the Hillbank people suggested the Vortech to a guy with a 4.6L 3V V8 who inquired about the Paxton. Learn something new every day. [sm=smiley1.gif] Pyrat 09-25-2006, 06:30 PM Looks like someone may have forgotten to pull the pins and tried to open the hood or the hood came loose while it was being driven. I'd like to know what the whole story is. Rogue24 09-25-2006, 06:32 PM They seem to say its common now on the rentals... LiquidLenny 09-25-2006, 10:54 PM ORIGINAL: Rogue24 Check out this Shelby hood from popping the hood with the hood pins in.
