Adrian1,

I had bought a 3 row a couple of weeks ago and I still had a inch clearance. I did not buy the 4 row due to the width increase of the radiator. I believe you have to buy the appropriate spacer to make it work. Sorry....I know what it like to get new parts and want to put them on and get the car going....only to run into technicalities.

Try Summit or have a machine shop cut eown the spacer you have. Later I will take new spacer to machine shop as it's just a little too long, I had to go to a short spacer and add washers to get the fan blade away from my fan belt for the time being/

A spacer may look like part of the water pump pulley but it's not. I'm pretty sure you have one. So, take your fan off and take the spacer to have it cut down, or just buy a shorter one.

Are you telling us that your fan is mounted directly to the water pump pulley? I find that hard to believe. Even if it were so, you shouldn't even be hitting the radiator even if it is a 4-core.

This is a spacer. It is between your fan and your water pump pulley.

Any chance you can post a picture shot straight down from above the water pump?
I'm suprised that would not fit. Do you have an A/C condensor mounted on the engine side of the front cowl?
