Well I'm not gonna worry too much........since Ford has a lousy record for delivering its concept models to production, but damn.........that thing looks retarded. If you were to have shown me this before I read the article I would have asked you where in the hell the owner of that GT got that ugly ass bodykit.
The other silver concept they showed doesn't even look like a mustang. It looks like someone took the Camaro concept and beat the hell out of it with a rubber mallet.
Here's to hoping these are just "works in progress".......ideas bled out into solid form. Because if either of those two concepts is gonna become reality......I'm glad I got my 05
I hope Ford doesn't stray off the base design cues (ie. Round headlights, Triple panel tailights, side scoops, fastback rear window, long nose). Some of you may gag, but what I like about the Corvette is that it has had the sames basic design since the early 60s. Yes it has evolved through the decades, but each design, though different, you can still say that it's a Vette. Unfortunately the Mustang can not say the same (ie Mustang II, Fox, S195).
Look the S197 is a great restart to Mustang. True, the design has to be modernized every few years or people will get bored and it will end up like a New Beetle or PT Cruiser that have not been redesigned since they came out. At least they still look the same to me. But keep it true to the original. CONSISTENCY for the heritage!

personally i like the new edge design for the 09, but thats mabye cuz im into the whole modern look. it still has a retro futuristic look to it if you look at it. I think its perfect cuz it screams 21st century muscle the front end needs to be a little more angular though. . . to curvy and doesnt really match the rest of the body, oh well i cant aford an s197 now so im savin up for the 09 and i look forword to it just to beat my friends 06 GT
