I took a thin piece of cardboard and put it behind the exhaust cut out (with the muffler off) and pressed it to fit then traced the opening on it. I then cut it out, flipped it over and laid it on the other side after measuring how far over it was. Traced around the cut out with a sharpie and cut it on the line with my jig saw. very easy, took 15 min.
i cant even tell from ur avatar, do u have a diff front bumper? is ur rear bumper a stock v6 bumper just cut for duals, yes? post some pics please of ur cut bumper with the exhaust on it please, i wanna see how it looks, does it look OEM? like if i have it cut professionally i want it to look like its factory cut u know, show some pics please, i wanna do it...what do u think , i can get to JBA dual axlebacks without the piping for 150, then ill get an x pipe, what is the best, i want a great sound, so x pipe or fake y or h pipe?

I followed Tres Wright's thread for creating a cardboard template. I think it's a sticky now. Cut mine with a regular blade knife and cleaned up the cut with a Dremel tool fine sanding drum. I didn't use any touch up paint and it's been done for over a year, no issues. Here's a pic, sorry lighting is not the best.
paper template of the right side flipped it and taped on the left cut it close with a dremil tool then finished it off with a drum sander atachment on the dremil and touched it up with my touch up paint.
