I wasn't going to even change the exhaust because the stock one sounds good just like it is, but you always want more. I started with Pypes Violators but did not like the sound at wide open throttle. I've had Flowmasters in the past on many different vehicles and decided to try them again. I am totally pleased with them, their deeper than stock and have a good sound at any rpm. For me they are just what I was looking for.

Love them!!! Had them on within 12 hours of getting the car and couldn't be more pleased. As said above, deeper sound but not too loud...but D@mn, go WOT and you can hear them.

hate to be the party pooper...........................

the Flowmasters for our cars have been having problems. The baffles inside break loose and rattle. I love them too, and have had them on all 4 of my previous mustangs, but there is a widespread problem. It's happening to LOTS of mustang owners. Something to think about

That was the reason I did not go with the Flowmasters as my first choice. I called Flowmaster themselves and talked to them about the problem they were having with the mufflers. They told me they did a fix but that failed also and on the 3rd design change they have gotten the problem solved. They said if I had any problems not to hesitate to contact them for a replacement set. I have had mine since July of 06 and have no problems with them. I love my FLOWMASTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just pulled mine out of storage for 6 months to put on a friends car and now they have the baffle problem too. [:'(] I've got 3 weeks left on warranty. i guess it's destiny. But they sound great otherwise. However, I like my Borla's better.
