I have a question I just got a 2001 Cobra and when i'm driving I hear a high pitched noise from the clutch I think. when I push the clutch in it stops but then when I let it out it starts again it gets louder the higher the RPM's go. I brought it to Ford they told me that it was a normal thing and there was nothing they could do...anyone else have this problem? What should I do?
Thanks.
I have the same problem, have had it on every clutch I put in the car. Are the T/O bearings a total POS or what? Anybody have a solution or a bearing that won't squeal after 15k miles?

You may want to get everything looked at, we had a similar problem/noise,, we had to replace the following:
clutch fork
t/o bearing
clutch fork pivot
clutch and pressure plate
pilot bearing
resurfaced fly wheel
We also had to have a new quil put on because the t/o bearing tore it to crap.......
We are NOISE free
