All i got to say is get the 20's, dont make it look like everyother stang out there. ill post a pic of mine, there 20" lexani fire with falken 255/35/20 rubber. I have never had so many compliments on wheels before. But if you want you stang to look like every other stang, then go with 18's.

That's gotta be the ugliest rims on a mustang I've ever seen. They look so out of place and ricey.

I'd have to agree with you, but thats just my taste.  There are several styles of 18" wheels out there, and I bet there are some that wont look like every other stang.

They look disgusting! I only find rims on cars looking like that in the ghetto.

I bet you find $2000 wheels plus $1800 for rubber in the ghetto,  haha, no need to be a douche about it, everyone has there own taste. this is the only place where i've had my rims bashed on.  i have only ever gotten compliments on them before (on the net and in person), So W/E people keep your stang the same as everyone else and i guess that will make u happy.

My car before I took the 20s off....looks good to me! My 60 foot time suffered two tenths when I had the 20s opposed to the 17s.

Those are really gawdy.  Not on a mustang man.....  A lowered truck okay, an SUV okay, a old school impala or similar vehicle okay.  But on a Mustang it's just wrong.  I'm all about lowered trucks and big chrome rims but I would never do 20's on my stang.  Ditch the ricer lights too.  Just my opinion.  That thing just screams pull me over every 5 seconds, sorry to say but big chrome rims draw a lot of attention from police.

Bottom line get a nice set of 18's since you drive a mustang.  Get 20's if you want to be like G-unit.

I don't mind bigger rims on the new edges.  Sometimes it just looks stupid,  but the Foose lusso wheels in 20" looked Madddd good one a blue saleen i saw.

For whatever reason, I think 20's have a place but only on the new S197 body stangs.  Something about the body and fender lines makes them look more "in place" than on a SN-95/New Edge stang.  But with the wrong tires (which most people put on) they just look stupid.  If you put 20's on a new stang, just be sure to lower the car like Saleen does or it will look like a 4x4 , and get the right tires with more sidewall.

But if you are even marginally concerned about dyno'ing or drag'ing the car, don't by 20's - trust me

I agree. 17's on 99-04, though.

Since you brought this thread from the dead, do you have any pictures to support how good your SN95 looks with 20s?
