Anyone from missouri on here???

i have 2 SVO's.  mine is a heavily modded 86.  aiming for over 300 on pump gas and 16psi.  330 or more on a mixture and on 20 psi.
also an all original 1985.5 caynon red 58,000 mile car.  my dad is the original owner of it (and still is).

Anybody from L.A.? I have 2 SVO's. both 84's with minor mods practically stock. one canyon red and the other black. the black one is my DD and the red one is in need of some of some resurection. haven't taken my it to the track yet but im looking forward to seeing what it runs. it has full 3" piping, LA3, 35lb injectors, Tc intercooler, electric fan, & K&N cone filter.

MIGISMALLS -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/13/2008 3:34:58 PM)

flash517 -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/13/2008 8:15:51 PM)

I want a svo. I wish I could find a good deal.

MIGISMALLS -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/13/2008 8:50:45 PM)

yeah finding a good deal is really hard but that doesn't mean that they don't come up. just try looking in all da classifieds where they sell cards. try mustangsvo.org in the classifieds, they usually have them for sale there from all over the country.

svo1617 -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/25/2008 7:41:31 PM)

I just purchased my first 1984 SVO.  I have owned several fox body V-8 cars.  It was time for a little change.  Here is a pic.

MIGISMALLS -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/26/2008 2:08:10 PM)

looks nice. i thought of getting a set of them rims too. was also thinkin of painting my car too but dont know what color yet. kinda thinking about going with murder(flat black) on it but i dont know yet.

any mods on your car?

svo1617 -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/26/2008 5:33:35 PM)

I just got the car over the weekend.  When I got it the rims were white and it did not shine at all.  I went and had the smog done.  I drove it straight from the smog shop and did a three inch system on it, no cat with a spin tech three inch race muffler.  The car already had a k&n cone filter on it.  I dis-connected the knock sensor.  I already have an adjustable boost control on the way.  Thanks for the compliment on the car.

TRBOPWR -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/26/2008 7:09:31 PM)

Sounds like you are already well on your way on making the car quicker.  Sounds like you have had some experience with boosted motors...

MIGISMALLS -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/26/2008 10:45:53 PM)

i was wondering if there was any performance ud pulleys for the svo's just like there is for other cars?

sleeper_inc -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/27/2008 7:21:56 AM)

Trust me, you want want under drive pullies. Sure more HP, but your engine is more likely to overheat when just in stop and go traffic

MIGISMALLS -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/27/2008 2:50:17 PM)

yeah i figured that, i still havent found them anywhere or how much they go for. wouldnt mind seeing how much they go for.

svo1617 -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/28/2008 6:55:02 PM)

I have had a little bit of experience.  I owned a muffler shop for five years and did alot of pipe work for a import shop.  They did alot of turbo additions on there cars.  I have always liked the SVO, but could not find one out here in Cali..  I think this car is going to be alot of fun.  I had alot of fun with the 5.0's I figured it was time for something different.  Anybody know where I can get the outside marker lights for this thing??

TRBOPWR -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/28/2008 8:02:36 PM)

Passenger side?  Good luck.  Keep a sharp eye on ebay basically.

MIGISMALLS -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/28/2008 11:19:35 PM)

I agree with trbopwr. u shold really just relly on ebay for most of the things for these cars since its extremely hard to find things for them. ive been tryin to find the sideskirts w/o the side spats for quite some time and still no luck. but who knows we might just get lucky some...

MIGISMALLS -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/28/2008 11:24:11 PM)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-1985-1986-FORD-SVO-MUSTANG-PASS-SIDE-MARKER-LIGHT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ140740QQihZ007QQitemZ170196581326QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

pretty price for just being one, but if u look u can find both.

TRBOPWR -> RE: Calling All SVO's (2/29/2008 8:47:52 AM)

That one will easily go for $300-400.  They reproduce the driver side markers so those are pretty easy to find, but since they don't reproduce the passenger side markers the only ones left are the NOS ones from 20+ years ago...
