I have seen some thunderbird superchargers on e-bay for relitivily cheap around 300-500 bucks, they say they also work for 3.8 Mustang, does anyone know if that is worth the money????and how much HP would I gain?
you have single port heads right? those are found on anything older than 99. if so, go for it. those provide nice gains for cheap. shipping will be killer though

WOW, there is so much mis-information here on this forum!!! The Thunderbird SC eaton's M90 supercharger will bolt up, but you need ALL the pieces. You'll need everything such as the lower intake, both accessory brackets, the A/C compressor, the throttle body and the cable, the intercooler and the piping, and the blower obviously.
Year for year, it's the same engine. Obviously the intake has to be part of the package. You can even use an older year M90 on a newer 3.8 with minor adapting. If I remember right, your looking at around a 40 to 60 HP gain with the M90. Not bad for 400 bux!
swaping the whole motor would be easier and cheaper its not worth the time or money needed to get it to work!!! just save up and buy a supercharger made for you car!!!mmm procharger!!!
