Well, i was thinking about selling my 01 gt and getting a 94 or 95 5.0. and was either going to drop the motor and put in a bigger one or just building on the 5.0......I was hoping to get some advice on how easy and how much it would cost to make a stock 5.0 to a 11-12 second car....(i would replace the tranny) I have no idea how much parts are for 5.0's all i have learned about were the 4.6's......i am trying to make this car a daily driven dragster.......please help.
what all would i need to replace to make that twin turbo run at it's best performance? replace heads, i'd get a new set of cams.........turbo's are faster than superchargers aren't they?.....(i like the sound of the supercharger/more ingeneral but yeah i want my car to be real fast haha)
I will have about 6 grand. Not as much as i'd like but i'm trying to get the best bang for my buck and i'm gonna be saving up more and continue adding on.
yeah, but is it enough to get into the 11's?.....That's my goal. I will need some suspension stuff i know that, but am not worried about that yet. I wanna build it up then worry about getting it to the floor, cuz i'd rather have the problem of getting the power to the ground than not getting power at all....(if that makes since haha...)
What all could i do to it with 6 grand, how much, i'm going to eventually look all of this up just trying to get somewhat of an idea of how the 5.0 runs. If i replaced the heads in it would it be able to hold 500+ hp?
