Good commercial, to bad the car is to heavy.... Our stock gt's will hang neck and neck with it through an 1/8...

ummm...no the worst 1/4 i've seen in vidoes of a stock gt500 is a 12.8 on stock tires...stock gt can't hang with that and some have hit low 12's. But anyway, i love the commercial and i actually have 1 east german and 2 russian foreign exchange students at my school and one of them is in a few of my classes. He saw me getting into my car and came up to tell me that the mustang is his favorite car and he wishes he could get one back home, but it's so expensive compared to other cars because of importing it etc. That made me feel good that his favorite car is american.

Notice I didn't say a 1/4. I said an 1/8. I know they will beat stock gt's in a 1/4 lol. Maybe they aren't exactly neck and neck throught the 1/8, but very close. They just don't start really pulling way until after the 1/8. Though I'm comparing this with my stock 1/8 time and what I saw in the Magazine that compared the 500 to the C6 in which it listed each ones 1/8 time. The commercial is cool though.

Too bad there are numerous places here in America where the speed limit is "Go" ala the Autobahn. Texas and Montana come to mind. And I've been on those roads, boy are they fun!

Montana has a speed limit again... Gov't withheld highway funds... not heavily enforced unless you are from out of state...
Texas just raised the boring stretches to 80... it's the only reason to drive from San Antonio to El Paso!!!
