Default motor question for a 1997 cobra

I have a 1997 cobra svt..I was wanting to put a stroker motor in it..I don't know the stroker motors for these cars i only know them for the 302..So could someone help i drive this car so i would need to know what is the best and how much it is going to cost.thanks

a stroker kit would be a worthless investment on your car. the route to go with the dohc's is boost.

If you want to stay NA and make better than stock power a stroke kit is the way to go.

with that kind of money, you could go turbo, which would be alot better

Strong combination also. Big $$$ combo though, if you're not in the position for a rebuild.
If a rebuild is in order and you plan on going that route check out VTEngines and Mod Perf. Both are very solid engine builders and combo consulates.
More NA thoughts
Majority of Mod Perf NA 305 Big Bores deliver 360+ rwhp with a good tune. These are 96-98 Cobras used both on road courses and street driving and are all capable of 8k rpms.
