I never understand why they leave the intake to take air in from UNDER the hood. I would think they would make it fenderwell to get REAL cold air. I think on the street it will lose a good 10-15 rwhp because of that intake design.

Before we hear this ad nauseam, the Z06 is lighter, handles better, brakes better, has a better top end, blah blah blah. It's great that they got that kind of power out of the car though, but it's no Z06.
P.S. I know this will not stop the countless pro Z06 posts that are going to come rolling in.
That's a pretty big difference with just the tune and intake.
yeah..but again..hood open with a fan on it is not the same as street. At least the company that dynoed it looking at it as a step in the right direction and not saying flat out "with just a tune and a CAI" the actually want to do more testing...we'll see what happens.
