Just purchased a plenum cover for my 2005 V6. I'm now interested in purchasing a strut tower brace, does anyone have a manifold or plenum cover and a strut tower brace together? Which one do you have or recommend? Looking at Steeda, Ford Racing, Granatelli or BMR

okay, so i just got the steeda one. it looks like it is gunna fit but i cant be too sure right now, because i am going to get the shop to install it with some of my other stuff
I have the V6 steeda strut tower brace. IMO it will not clear the plenum cover (see pic). Myabe if you put fat washers under the bolts it might lift it high enough to clear. It also leave an inprint on the hood underside material, no biggy. its a good addition.
I checked with several different sources after purchasing my plenum cover a few months ago. All the different companies I spoke to said that none of the stb's would fit with a plenum cover. My understanding was that on the v6 most of the stb's already sit at the point that they would leave the indentation in the hood liner so I wouldn't think there would be much room to raise it at all.

I plan on buying the BMR brace which goes around the front of the plenum. It won't clear the plenum cover so I am going to dremel a notch for it in the front edge of the cover and then hit the cover with touch up paint. The hump in the front of the main part of the plenum cover will have to be cut down. Another notch may have to be cut in the corners of the plenum cover. I will have to see. Another option would be to use a single bar over the top and cut a notch in each side of the cover for the bar to fit in.
