GTO's are already rare. Mustangs are the cars you see everywhere. I don't understand why some of you can't accept the fact that there are faster cars out there. Mustangs and GTO's aren't invinceable. I also don't understand where all the ignorance is coming from. If you were a true gearhead, you wouldn't care what kind of car it was. You'd be more concerned about having fun, making your car faster, and becoming a better driver.

Maybe there are some that can hit 12's.Iv'e never seen it but it's possiable.Majority will run high 13's.Why are there so many newbie GM guy's?Same people differant name?Hmmmm.That's it I'm going to create 3 or 4 differant accounts and start agreeing with everything I say just to support my argument.LS1 camero or Vette >LS2 GTO HANDS down.

now, i understand that this is a mustang site, but riddle me this..
people can come on here with a 390hp terminator, and claim that stock, they ran 12.50...people will go on about how awesome that is that they are so fast. no proof, just what they say....and here, it makes perfect sense...
then you have someone with proof of a very high second run, who admits that the car is more typically a low 13 second car, but has gotten into the high 12s, with a 400hp engine...and everyone jumps on him, about how it is impossible???
go Blue...didnt your car run something like mid to low 13s?

Hey I just noticed newbie Shaned.You have bolt ons and your best run is 12.9 I thought GTO's were running stock High 12's. A few more posts and your post number will be higher than your 1/4 milw times LOL.
Yes low 13's in the summer broke into the 12's in early august after lidio tweaked my tune an dyno.Curious to see what it runs now that the weather has cooled a bit.

It was my first time to the track and my second run. My GMM was slipping and it was on 245 tires. I should have my 275 BFG DR's this week. What are you running?

That just shows how much you know...the shift light for the GTO was not turned on when shipped over here. There's only one guy that can do it, Chris White from michigan. Why don't you educate yourself before you bash others...
