Jeez, thanks for 'throwing bones' to us lowly mustang guys...lol
You haven't been a member here long enough to know better so I'll save the comments of 'delusions of grandeur', but you did not bring any controvery here in this thread...it's been around since this forum started when the mods and admins dissed S197 owners as being stupid....
It is the internet...there will always be controversy here whether you throw us bones or not...
I haven't visited any other sites nor have a tried to look. If there is more info out there that can benefit me then i'd like to check it out. Besides the repetitive threads (mostly from newbs) it's a great site. I've learned way more on this site about my new mustang than i thought i'd ever know. I think the biggest problem is most don't know how to properly use a forum. If a newbie knew right away to try and search for something instead of just starting a thread that's been posted a hundred times already then you'd have less of that stuff to filter through. When they don't know about it, it's much easier for a newb to just start a new thread. At least that's what i've seen from my experience on this site. Sorry for continuing the off-topic topic!
Now about our informative friend shane. It's obvious he has some useful knowledge especially pertaining to our new stangs and what "the common owner" should think about. He has a perspective a lot of people here could use. Not everyone here wants to turn their stang into a race car. Sure he might be young and doesn't know "everything" (nor does he claim to) but his knowledge is obviously useful to some people (Just look at how many pages long this thread is.) There is always someone out there smarter, better, faster, etc than you! That doesn't mean that you aren't right or useful or could benefit in some way. He is helping some people out and giving us information that he doesn't have to. We should respect it and welcome it. I for one do! Thanks for you posts shane and hope that the actions a few don't turn you away. Not to say that someone who disagrees with him is wrong but let's not turn a good thread into an argument on who's right, more knowledgable, etc. Just my 2 cents!

If you are an idiot or want to talk about what stripes to get or what exhaust sounds best, please don't bother cause you'll get no play over there...
If you want to actually learn something about S197's and talk with the big boys who actually build the cars you read about, then welcome aboard!! Almost every major shop is a member and posts there. (No - I'm not one of the 'big boys' - I go there to learn)
Again, appearance and waranty nuts need not take a look - it's not for you.

Check your PM's, sport - I sent you one last night. Again, such discussions are not for the boards. If you have a problem, use the PM or email feature. While you're away, please tell chevykiller I said hello when you see him next time (in the mirror!).

You are full aware the name chevykiller is not allowed to be mentioned on this site...
I think the name Don_W is also on the "banned list."
