Soooo I've had my car about a month and a half of me actually driving it, in that time I've gotten 3 front plate tickets, 2 exhaust tickets, a seat belt ticket, a tint ticket, and a radio ticket......add to that I get phone calls to my house and cops drop by all the time tellin me they are getting complaints and damn near everytime i drive i get followed or pulled over. I've switched my exhaust, put the front plate on, always wear my seatbelt, takin out my system, and i still get bothered...WHAT DO I DO

is ur exhaust illegal, if not then who gives a fuk. if i were you i would annoy the hell out of them. wear ur seat belt. what are the front plate tickets about? keep ur windows down more often, or if u see a cop, roll them down.

My car didnt come with the front plate bracket, i ordered one two weeks ago after the second ticket (which was about a week after the first) and on my way home today i got pulled over and i told him i have the bracket at my house (just came today) and that im going to put it on as soon as i get home. I always have my windows down ALWAYS this cop made me roll my windows up to check if they had tint. they are 35% and are supposed to be 50% or some ****, u can see right through them no problem. my exhaust was shorty header-offroad x pipe-flowmaster 40's dumped. i went and got magnaflows and tail pipes put on to quite it down and its sounds reaal good now

I'd be going to war with the local police department if they kept harassing you that often Keep a tape recorder or something, and something that can take pictures (camera phone works) in the car, when one goes to pull you over, start recording, describe the situation, let it record what the officer says, if it's a plate infraction or something take a picture of the "offense" (be sure to get the officer in there or something), then take the bastard to court over it. If you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about, and if they pulled you over you should make it a PITA and they'll catch on sooner or later.

Greedy, some mods just ain't worth it...

As for the exhaust: everything I've heard tells me that the stock exhaust is about as efficient as it can be, so if you mod it, it's just for the purpose of making it loud.

As for the tint: dude, good looking guys like us LIKE to be seen driving their cars. Never really got the tint thing myself.

As for the front plate: yeah, I hate it too, but I got tired of getting pulled over, so I put it on.

As for the seat belt: do you realize how much better your chances are in an accident when you are wearing your seat belt? Why wouldn't you wear it?

Good luck with it.

I bought the car with the exhaust the way it was, loved the sound i dont mind it being loud everyone else does.
I never have my windows up, i like to hear the car, tint was on the car when i got it also.
the car never came with the front plate bracket, im just a poor highschool kid and making the car payments is hard enough without having to fix **** on the car.
I forgot my seatbelt on the short ride home from the gas station and got pulled over cuz i looked like i was drunk (crossed over the line a lil bit) I try to wear it though.

Maybe the car was for sale because the previous owner was an idiot and got pulled over too? Maybe the cops think you are the same driver? Just a thought...

Why was he an idiot? Who on here doesnt like there cars loud?? Mustangs are all about attention being loud helps draw that attention. As for the tint maybe the sun got to him, i personally think cars look nice with tint if done right. and TN doesnt require a front plate.

Hey it's not ALL about going fast. We want to look and sound good also. Sometimes stock exhaust just doesn't cut it. Mines pretty subdued now though its got a good rumble when i step on it, its perfect. before you could here me for blocks and blocks and blocks...kinda annoying

Greedy, you are in denial! You are the one that posted that you get pulled over every third time you drive. You asked for advice and I gave it. You don't sound like you want to hear it though. What do you want to hear from us? Cops suck? OK, cops suck. Make you feel better? It doesn't change your situation.

How should I know? Maybe he was busted for doing 120 3 times and assaulted a cop? Maybe he did that and was drunk too? I have no idea what he might have done.

First, you should have just simply obeyed the laws to begin with, you wouldn't be in this situation.

I did the same crap you did with my 02 GT. I was just asking for harassment from the cops and I sure as hell got a LOT of it. I am sure I had double the issues with police that you have.

I de-modded the car to make it legal, laid low with the car for quite some time and eventually I was able to do the things I wanted to do again, this time I drove a little different and stayed off the road at certain times and I was never bothered again.
