my mods are listed below.i'm getting onto I94 south of milwaukee its a 360degree on ramp i'm taking it at 55 or so since its not the smoothest road. as i get to the end of the 360 i see a wrx in the next lane over who sees me getting on. he wants to pass me so he floors it, i instantly gun it, i'm in 4th at 3000 when i hit. i start to pull on him right away by 70mph i'm a car or so ahead. i take 4th out to 95 where i'm a 2-3 cars on him i let off as i shift into 5th, since my gf is in the car. i'm not sure of the year, it wasn't an sti but it still felt good to beat a solid car.

are u sure he knew u were racing? If it was a stock imprezza i dont doubt u could beat it... but i have 2000 gt with similar mods and i know the pickup in 4th at 55 mph isnt that great... when i race (from a stop) i dont shift till fourth till about 90mph.

you have cams, head work,aftermarket pistons and 4:10's, like him and your does not pull good in 4th gear?

look at his mods... stock for stock it'd be a drivers race, but from a roll the stang already has an advantage... add those modifications and 4.10s... and a stock WRX is gone.

4.10 wouldn't be much of an Advantage from a roll......And once more Si i don't think wrx vs gt is a drivers race...everywhere i see the GT has a slight advantage, but you provided info proving a 14.1 so that would infact make it very close..
So a Stock WRX runs a 14.1? Not the STI. Im thinking even a stock GT could out run a WRX. But maybe im wrong. 2000si ring in here and give me some numbers bro, what does a stock plain wrx run?

A stock WRX doesn't run 14's ever, maybe the STI but not the normal WRX. In the vid in my sig I ran a WRX and it was a 16 second car (but this is in south GA humidity).
I found in 2002 the wrx ran a 14.7 @ 93 Mph ! This is factory i guess. It made 240 something hp.Weight is like 3100 plus pounds. So im guessing a stock GT would eat up a Reg WRX with no problem. Anyone? Trying to learn .. So dont start flaming fellas..
