Default What Single Exhaust would you buy today for your V6 Mustang?

Ok, I just purchased a Black 2006 Mustang V6 and changing the exhaust will be my first major mod. So far I'm still undecided. I have listened and watched all the audio and video clips I still can't decide. So I'm starting this poll to get all of your input. I really like the MRT but I am very concerned about the drone in the interior. The MAC sounds very similar to the MRT. The Flowmaster American Thunder for the V6 Mustang seems very intriguing but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of people running just the single muffler. The Borla/Ford Racing exhaust sounds good also. Anyways..my head is spinning trying to figure this stuff out. So I want all of YOUR input! Help me decide! Please! I will post what I decide to get at the end of the week! Bottom line is I want my Mustang to sound real mean on the outside...but I really don't want the drone on the inside. I want to be able to still hear the music on my Shaker 500. Also, I don't want to run GT takeoffs.

Let me know what you think!!

Thanks,

TxIceMan

EDIT: If you vote for "Other", please post what you would get so I can maybe add it to the poll. Thanks.

i have been in the same boat but i believe i have finally decided on the MRT. I have liked it the most and I have heard complaints about the drone but Scrming said that MRT is developing resonators for it so you will have to check into that. Im hoping to make my purchase in the next month.

I got the Magnaflow muffler and I like the sound but each person has their favorite brand.

whoooaa the mac does not sound like the MRT. If i am not mistaken the mrt is the loudest single so far... if you arent looking specifically for something loud, dont go mrt. It is very loud. It gets deeper and a little quieter over time and sounds very good after about 500 miles but at first it can sound ricey and the sound changes alot. It does give the most gains tho and you can actually feel the gains a little bit. It's perfect for what i wanted.

Here's the bigger question: Do you want sound or power?

The MRT has power, everything else is just a little bit of power (compared to the MRT) and sound.

I'm all about power.

Can't have the sound without the fury.

The MRT is the one i voted for, seems that most people that bought it are happy and also a couple of people i think said they didnt have droning so i dont know kinda weird.

i dont know how anyone with the MRT could not have droning. the worst is at 2500 rpm, right at crusing speeds. but for the gains and tone...there is no beating the MRT.
