ORIGINAL: Charlie1 I'm surprised no one has commented on what appears to be Pammy's daily driver...looks like a 65 goat. I love my Mustang but the first-gen GTOs are top of the list in classic cars for me. And the prices reflect that, so I'll never have one. It's not a daily driver. It doesn't even have an engine in it right now (see how high the front end is?). I bought a 389 and it should be installed soon, then the rest of the drivetrain needs to be bought and installed.

Here's my 64 1/2 with original BLACK California plates (taken a few months ago before installation of new seats), BADLY in need of a paint, and Torque Thrust D's are on their way: ...and here's Soaring favorite seats and interior (couple of weeks ago):

But the picture in my signature I just took yesterday after I washed her up,...so in my book, that meets your criteria.

Getting a 65 GTO isnt that tough.. Getting a NICE one will cost you a bit more. Picked this one up for $1000... it works for me because hey, I can rebuild anything..lol... that and I have parts just layin around for it, like an entire drivetrain and most of an interior.. so eh, why not? the stangs look pretty good in this thread, even the ones that are under construction or in beater/daily driver status.. not everyone needs a show car or trailer queen.. :) Thumbnail Image

I see no mention of a chevy anywhere.. Unless you have the Fairlane confused with a chevy nova. There is a BIG difference bwteen the divisions of GM prior to 1980, and the quickest way to insult and enrage a PONTIAC owner is to call it a filthy chevy. FYI, parts for the 65 arent as easy to come by as some of them. Chevelles have a bunch more parts available. I cant find a good set of front fenders anywhere. So I have a bunch of body work to do on the ones it has already. IT IS NOT A CHEVY.

Speaking of Pontiacs. Here is what my daily driver was back in the late 60's. Man, that thing was a tank, but very stylish and powerful.
