List of things I had to do to complete the swap:

I was able to use the 94 engine computer. I was also able to use the 94 engine harness with slight modifications.

What I had to change were some of the sensor plugs on the 94 harness to be able to plug into the 99+ sensors. This is a list of the sensors plugs I had to cut and splice in:

1- Idle Air control plug

2- Throttle position sensor

3- EGR feedback sensor

4- EGR control solenoid

5- Coil pack

6- Engine Temperature Sensor

7- Oil pressure sensor

8- all 6 Fuel injector sensors. You are able to use the old 94 14# plugs and not have to do this swap, but I decided to use the 99+ 21# injectors so there would be enough fuel getting to the Engine. In order to use the 99+ injectors you also need to use the 99+ Mass Air Flow sensor(MAF).

10- I had to have the 99+ fuel rail custom fabricated to have a return line added to it. The 99+ Mustangs use a returnless system. If you do not want to add a return line, you would have to rewire the whole entire fuel system and use a 99+ computer. That would cost way more, and just wasn't worth it.

11- Had to swap out the Cam position sensor froom the 94 block into the 99+ block.

The engine block on the 99+ is the same as the 94, therefore it bolted right in to the motor mounts in the engine compartment.

Everything else pretty much plugs right in. I used my old radiator, and my 4r70w Transmission.

Let me tell you, this was a fun learing experiance, and man what a difference 50hp makes.

how much did this all cost you? I'm trying to sell my 98 5-speed because there isn't enough

power. If that 99+ engine makesw a lot of difference then maybe I'll consider that instead.

If you do it yourself it's around 1000 bucks, if you have someone else do it, it's aroud 1600.
