There's a corner here that I can take going really fast, if you go off the road youll go into a field of cut grass and not much can happen so I'm alittle more confident in whipping around it...lol I could take this corning doing 80 in the Iroc-z, I can't touch 60 in the Mustang before the rear end starts stepping out on me. You will see them take $50k cars to school all day. The Iroc-z was designed. more towards handling than 1/4 mile times. (in reply to 2002 Stang GT) Post #: 8

Fox body & 3rdgen Camaro's go head to head traveling to several road courses. Not knocking Mustangs, since I own one...unless you are in a Cobra R or Saleen, without many upgrades they are only good for going straight. All it takes for an Iroc-z is sticky 245/50 tires and you have yourself a road racer heh. (in reply to 2002 Stang GT) Post #: 9

Whats the fastes uve gone - 8/25/2003 5:33:29 PM    vfast   Posts: 11394 Joined: 7/16/2003 Status: offline the 302 chevy engine was I think there best engine ever built detuned to 290hp..we dyno this one stock with headers and the off road z cam with a 650 dp 435 hp reved up to 7500 with ease. the engine thumped from the factory with 11 -1 forged piston solid cam alum intake,holley carb, rock rusher m21 trans in stock trim it went mid 12's thur the mufflers. they made the engine 2 years because of the road racing engine size had to be 305 cu in or less..
