Default 2005 GT / Pioneer DEH-P980bt. Engine noise.

Hey guys.
after doing a search I found some helpfull stuff but wanted to post this to see if any new ideas had surfaced or if anyone has some good advice for me.

Pics if it'll help:
http://www.mustangforums.com/m_1726573/tm.htm

I'm currently running:
Pionner DEH-P980BT headunit
MTX 4 Channel amp (RTX 480p i think)
HiFonics Cycopls mono block amp (175 W RMS I think)
a Capacitor
STock Speakers (stock door subs not connected) running off the MTX
2 Pioneer 10" TSC-1000W (old subs, still work, running off the HiFonics)
Stock battery.
*Anti Rust thing on battery (more later)

The Wiring is "oxygen sealed" or some term my installer told me telling me they're good
all New wiring from Headunit to 4 channel amp + mono block amp
4 guague wiring used

I have Engine whine.
it's not bad, but it's there and it gets progressively worse above 2500RPM
As far as I know, the install was quality. I used a trusted source, with a very good installer and it's a very ncie and clean job.

Does anyone have any input as to what could be caussing the whine. Any advice is appreciated

*The car came with one of those electonic rust inhibitors that hook up to the battery. Apparently this puts a low level charge through the car to keep the molecules moving so rust doesn't form. Something about turning the car into a DIODE. Could this be the culprit?

I had the same problem in my old honda civic, more then likley you have a grould loop, get a ground loop isolater and your system will become so quiet you will be shocked. You will need one for each set of inputs on the amps, if you only have one input you only need one etc...

Rust on the battery? Are you sure they didn't mean corrosion?
