Default 2000 Gt vs 1997 ws6 Lt1?

Hey all, there is a guy who wants to race when i get back to college here in a couple of weeks. He is a decent driver and he sent his mods list to a friend of mine who sent it to me. here it is...

1. Flowmaster exhaust (soon to be SLP loudmouth, maybe 5-10hp... maybe)
2. 160 degree thermostat
3. K&N filter (10-20hp)
4. Custom HYPERTECH POWER PROGRAMER III computer mod (just did that a few hours ago, good for 25 - 30 hp)
5. Throttle body coolant bypass (5-6hp)
6. Skip shift eleminator
7. Lots of pretty color wire looms and a yellow fire exstinguisher inside!
8. New 1LE Rubber intake boot with NO AIR SILENCER (3-7hp)
9. MAF sensor screen was removed (1hp MAX)
10. sooo... if we take a stock LT1 engine that makes 285hp, and add the lowest possible hp to my car... you get an LT1 that makes about 334hp.... not too shabby...ummm... lets see... when i used my power programer, i put a 6200 RPM rev limiter on it, removed any and all speed limiters, added a custom fuel/air ratio to it, and so on... cool... and the rev limiter is DEFINETLY at 6200 RPMs

Soo.... thats what he's packin in his lt1. By the time i go back i will have all the mods in my sig pluss frpp 3.73:1 gears, and a steeda timing adjuster. how you think i will do??? thanks

I think that, if he can drive well, he'll win. Should be pretty close though. Your 3.73's aren't going to help as much as if he was an A4 car. With him being an M6 he already has 3.42's.

He's bullcrapping about the programmer, I'd pay to see an LT1 get 20-30hp from that alone...hahahahaha

Get 4.10 gears & radials, it'll be a drivers race. You have a slight weight advantage while he has a slight HP advantage.

He is not getting anywhere near those hp gains from the filter, tb bypass or Hypercrap.
