the vette came with what? 350 hp? doing head and cam will give it 100hp? i dont know thats why im askin. also, with the mods on the cobra, it will also run mid to low 11's. just check in mm&ff march 05 issue. so i also think that there is more to the story. dont get me wrong that vette was movin, but i have an 03 cobra with basically the same mods, and i beat a Z06, which was stock. and that has 405hp. no matter what you think, that 'kid' in the cobra clearly didnt know how to drive.
ya that is why i said he got owned. I dont care if you have a fast car it is all about who is drivin and shiftin the damn thing. I mean the guy in the corvette was getting the wheels loose he was shiftin so hard. I love any car in black. It just looks that much meaner.

Raise the cubic inches of the Cobra then what? It is all what if's. The next question is why didn't they do it from a stop. The Vette is nasty for also being quite and fast.

man amazing what a little cam work will do to a c5 and that was an 99 vette they came with i believe 305 hp...01 were 329 and 02 were 350, i took out an 99 vette, fast but got him 3 times one right after the other..so im amazed at what simple mod will do...

I hate dickheads who always say: "if the LS1 was blown...". Well, if the Cobra was 5.7 liters, if the Cobra was twin turbo charged with titanium internals, if the Cobra was dragged behind an F22 Raptor... Then the Camaro would get wasted.
I know what I see and the cobra got spanked.....I dont care what is done to it but its faster than the cobra.everyone on here loves to doubt everything...Who cares...if you lose you lose!
im not arguing the fact that the vette beat that cobra, im just saying that if that cobra had the mods it has, it should have done better. ie--bad driver. with 2.8 pulley, intake, and catback, which is on my cobra, i think that i could have atleast hung w/ that vette. i can take a loss when one is handed to me, no shame, but i doubt that i would have been pulled on like that. 99saleen, what does yours run in the quarter??
