It seems like I'm getting races everyday now. Anyway, last night I pull up next to this civic ex only mods I know for sure are exhaust and it was lowered but I'm sure it had more than that. So the light turns green he takes off slow but then at about 20 his punches and so do I at 45 he pulls a 1/2 a car on me which suprised me cuz most of these cars don't even hang with me, well at 65 I pull back on him and we are even it stays like this until about 95 and I start inching on him he shut down at 100 I had a front bumper on him. We raced again and it was the same result. I gave the guy thumbs up after the race, he gave me a nod. He was a cool guy.

i race civics all the time and there are only 2 who really put up fights. one dude has like an 86 hatch with an ITR engine and a blower. the other is a new si with a blower. they both have full exhaust, headers, hi flow cat, and cat backs. they both run around my times. the old one has hit 13s.
The old one has low boost then... which doesn't surprise me because of the ITR motor. A b18c5 with a blower in an EG hatch can put out some hellish numbers, I'm talking 10s and 11s... with minimal wheel spin (depending on how it's setup and the suspension/rubber) and yes, still street legal.
the old one is running a jackson racing supercharger. i think those only push 5 PSI. his problem is a ****ty driver. he launches way to high, like 5000 rpms. i jump about 2-4 cars ahead depending on my launch. then he catches me.
