I'm using 5-30. I was also told by my tuner and my FORD DEALER to stay clear from that 5-20 crap. I'm glad I am not the only one that was told this.

I was specifically told by the distributor the only reason they do it is because of incentives for better mpg. Thinner oil means less resistance between moving parts = higher efficiency which then transforms into higher mpg. He said that 5w-20 is good for fuel efficiency but it does not protect the motor adequately and if I was planning on having the motor for the long run I should switch to 5w-30. Any other opinions?
