Default 03GT vs 04WRX

I had assumed that my friend was going to get a 2004 Subaru WRX Sti, but now he tells me that hes actually going to get the regular WRX. My last post got me replies of avoiding Sti because of their AWD and turbocharger, but now he says that his parents want him to have the WRX (which i believe is still turbocharged.) If he is a fresh driver with a bone stock WRX and i have intake and exhaust modifications on my 2003 Gt for months, who has the faster car?

depends on how fast he learns to drive the car. stock for stock it's going to be a drivers race. From a roll you'd have the advantage, from a stop he would.

Smartass, read the whole post

"im sure a gt would do the same"

He asked the question so i gave him a short answer. Looks like your post wasnt much help at all.

My post was a lot more helpful than "I'm sure a gt would do the same" because it's NOT based on an assumption. I told him that it depends on how long it takes the guy to get used to his car, and stock for stock they are a drivers race...meaning the Mach I is going to take it no matter what...lots of help your experience was to him...

2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
Obtained from C&D October, 2001
0-60: 5.4 Transmission: Manual
1/4 Mile: 14.1
1/4 Speed: 96

Yeah that looks like mid 14s to me.

We have been through this 100218939857940239875209387509823470958 ba-****in-zillion times. A WRX and a 99+ GT is a FREAKING DRIVERS RACE. END OF STORY.

Sheesh.
