Working on a 1995 Mustang convertible. The drivers seat does not respond to any command from the switch.

Is there more than one motor? If so, then the switch is bad? Since neither motor moves. Anyone know what to test where?

????????????

Pulled the seat out and took off the track. Found that I could get the motors and track to work, using jumper cables and some test leads. But I also found that the gas charged cylinder has gone bad, causing an over load on the motors. I removed the cylinder and will try to find a replacement.

Thanks,

tas

Sometimes when I get outta my '94, my leg accidently hits the toggle w/o me knowing it. When I get back into the car the seat is pushed all the way forward and it won't move back. It won't work for like 10minutes after the car is on. It's pretty embarassing when I need to go somewhere and this happens sometimes. What should I do to fix this?
