Default Installing a T5 and I've got ?'s

I'll be putting in a T5 tomorrow and I bought a new steel bearing retainer. When I put this on the tranny should I lube the seal inside it with some Vasoline of something?
Also do you lube the bearing retainer shaft with grease for the through-out bearing to slide on? I'll also be putting in a tailshaft sleeve and tailshaft seal. Is the sleeve a PITA to put in?

Thanks for any answers in advance.

Default RE: Installing a T5 and I've got ?'s

I would just use some tranny fluid on the seal to lube it.

I would use some high heat grease on the throw out bearing.

You have to take the tailsection off to remove the bushing. Shouldn't be too bad, but it will take some time.
