Default GT Take-Off Struts/Shocks

Can anyone tell me if the GT struts and shocks will fit the V6? I have the GT take-off sway bars installed (WOW) and they made so much of an improvement, I want to add the shocks/struts (and springs?) if they'll work. I would also like to know if this is a change I can make in my driveway and if it will need an alignment.

If anyone knows for sure, please let me know.

Thanks!!

Are they different? I thought when I looked up the springs the 6 and 8 were the same ...

Ya the springs are the same but would that make the shocks/struts similar also?

Thanks, just hoping for a little improvement for little money.

I will probably get the Saleen strut/shock package. Can those be installed easily enough (home and hand tools) and will I need to get an alignment?

Unless anyone has the part numbers for the shocks/struts to say otherwise, I would think the GT has stiffer springs and the shocks/struts for those stiffer springs. Meaning they shocks/strust will be different. Your car won't sit any lower or higher with the GT springs but if they are a higher rated spring you will have a stiffer feel at all four corners.

If anyone has parts numbers for the shocks/struts on the V6 vs. the V8 post 'em. Traditionally the GT has had different components to give it a more aggressive suspension.
