Oil Viscosity - 8/31/2006 10:19:33 PM    xzo6 Posts: 211 Joined: 6/13/2006 Status: offline I was reading an article from "Fast Fords"Magazine.where they pitted a C6 Z51 Vette To A Roush. It stated the Roush used 5W 50 oil.My Stage 3 Roush blower was added at the Dealer and I was told to stick with 5w 20 oil.Anyone with a factory Stage3 Roush,please tell me what oil they are using...Please Post #: 1

Posts: 291 Joined: 6/8/2006 Status: offline According to the latest newsletter from the Roush Owners & Enthusiasts Association (www.goroush.com), the factory fill in new Stage 3s is Penzoil Platinum synthetic--but the viscosity is not mentioned. Do a little hunting on the web, or call/email Roush or one of the contacts listed on the club site. Everybody should keep in mind that whether you slap on a RoushCharger or Series VI, you've still got the stock Ford rotating assembly and the stock Ford cams. (in reply to S281 E) Post #: 6
