What kind of exhaust set up are you guys running on your 03 - 04 Cobras? Right now I have a flowmaster muffler cut in and I want to build something around that.

stock manifolds , bassani x pipe no cats ,and borla stinger cat back is the sh*t 4 inch tips. trust me.

stock manifolds, magnaflow catted x-pipe and magnaflow cat-back. yeah borla i loved the best but i got the magnaflow for half the price.

stock manifold...loudmouth x pipe and borla stinger exhaust...i love it!! love it!

i'll never mess with long tubes again. i got long tubes, and a no cat h pipe,mil elim.and mac cat back my old 99 cobra, i thinking of selling the whole system. long tube arent bad to install if you dont pull the motor out alot. pm me for pricing. cheap man i think the headders will work on a 03 cobra but double check first i now the h pipe will and the cat back will. its got 3.5 chrome tips . was on car for 10,000 miles when i redid the motor.i put the stock stuff back on it . cause it wasnt going to up the value any.

oh so your looking to keep the kit together when you sell it???? I don't know if i have enough right now. Thats the only crappy thing about owning a house and three cars. I have to mod one at a time.

i hear that , my eaton being ported right now 6 lb lower will be here tommorrow.blower wont be back untill next friday.[&o] then i cant get on it, till my sept 28 dyno date. dam .but am safe to drive it 160 miles to the dyno , they said just dont hammer down on it ..there going to put me on there site after the dyno.will post the ;link then. they said over 500 for sure maybe 525 rwhp. i just didnt want to go k/ bell i tend to go over broad with all my cars . ha i promised wife i wont mod it at all..:D she knows how to spell kenne/bell so if i have my hood popped and she see's that . hell's coming for me.

I have the Borla Stinger CB. Will an X-pipe make it sound too raspy? I want the H-pipe sound, but I heard the sound will be gross if I run a resonator style muffler with an H-pipe.

mine is raspy too. neighbors think iam speeding and 35 mph zones when im going 30 that pisses me off . i want to back up and kick ther ass

i mean i see these old gezzers ok i go real slow shifting out quickly ,and they give me the evil eye .then i go back week later and landscape there yard after a hard rain. with my 31X12.5 all terrains..no kidding.:D

What is the diff between a H pipe and an X pipe? Sound?

h pipe sounds more like a muscle car sound when you rev it . my x pipe sounds like a honda with 8 cylinders:D

Im running the SLP Loudmouth 1 with the stock H. It sounds good. And it back crackles like a MF. I had an x-pipe on there and it was way too loud.

What would you guys think is better for sound X or H pipe and what is better for performance? On my last 2 mustangs I have had bbk long tube headers and bbk X pipe and 40 series flowmasters it sounded sweet on my 96 gt with the supercharger but on the 01 cobra it was really loud.

well the x pipe is a tad better for performance but not much. I really IMO like the H pipe sound better but like i said before i got a great deal on my x pipe. Also O/R x or h will also give you just a little more performance then the catted. I have to run my car through emissions so i kept mine catted.

hey yellowcobra do know of a lot of guys that own 03-04 cobra in wisconsin.

i've seen a few but i only know of one other guy that posts on svtperformance.com

I run Stock manifolds, BBK O/R X pipe, and Flowmaster super 40's w/ stock back pipe (how it was when I bought it) it sound slightly louder than catted H pipe @ idle, a little raspy at times and absolutely awesome @ WOT. I also live in a neighborhood of Retired geezers with nothing better to do but glare and yell at me while doing 20mph. Fortunatley for me I could care less what they think I just stop and show em what 400hp posi looks like:D
