I pulled on a Z28 the other day. Got right up beside him... stared at him then backed off! LOL HA HA HA He was trying to be a badass in front of my girl so I had to prove to him that he's driving a hunk of sh!t!!! AND I DID!!!

Weird, I love to run 14 second cars....especially from a roll.

I know this is a mustang site but the Chevy guys are cooler than half the mustang people that post on here. I agree with Intruder on almost everything he says and 98LS1 posts the funny ****.

Alright guys did you ever think that maybe just maybe you can buy something other then a new car with that 30g's? I mean what i am saying is that you would buy a 88 Mustang GT with a 5 speed for about 6 grand not bad condition. Put on the exasht that you want such as Mac Long Tube Headers, Duel Flowmasters, Mac Offroad H-pipe,Cold Airintake. That would cost you maybe a total of a grand. Then lets see you get a twin turbo kit or you can just get two turbos from a junk yard from a saab (get two) and make everything work. Put a racing cam in and spacer for the throttle body, bigger injectors, hell while your at it you would be able to rebuild the engine, bore out the heads, put oversized pistons (do what you want) and then you would already have the 3:73 and the T-5 tranny already from stock. Lets see that would not be even 20 g's yet. Alright that is just i little thought of what you could do and you could **** up some cars. You could do what you want to the outside (wheels, hell a new paint job, custom hood, custom wing, bustin sound system) Now just think be more wise with your money. But the main thing is that it is still going to be an used car but it will feel like a new ****in Ferarri. Alright well tell me what you want to think of that. Mustangs are cheap to get. Cheap to Mod. Last Long. And if you know what you are doing you can kick some ass.

Right now, just a cutout. Gears and stall are sittin in my room waiting to be put in. I'm gonna get a lid, but I can't decide which one and I'm also wanting to get HP Tuners....$500 for an edit program, so I'm looking for a used one. I'm just shopping but I can't decide what I want....Been killing ol LS1tech here lately looking for parts.

haha ya my man. Well you guys need to use your brain dude that Evo never had a chance if anything he was trying to cheat half the time like he would be more in the front and try to take off before the last horn rang. I man come on that LS1 did not really have anything done to it. And BAM killed that ****in 30g Evo with style. I was going to get a 1997 or 98 Trans Am but I gave the 88 for a spin and i thought hell for less money this thing already has got some balls and now i am just going to have fun customizin it. THINK SMART DONT THINK NEW EVERYTHING GETS TO BE USED!!!!

THANK YOU!!!

The EVO was spotted the break, at least according to the original thread.

I was gonna get an old car, actually an old 5.oooo, but it's nice having over 300hp and all my accessories still work. I decided that if I do get an older car, it's gonna be to make it REALLY fast, not to be fast and a daily driver.

What year?
And whydja go with the 95LT1 over a fox?
Still don't like the front ends on the 94-97?
The sunken in headlights...
Didn't like the firebirds fronts back then either.

Dunno, I'm just a ricer with my Nawz and my Useful Hoodscoop.

I drive my 1988 GT everyday. I mean you have ones that are owned by kids and then they get mistreated but some are well kept but the other thing is that I was going to get a 98 Trans Am or 95 Trans Am but I just did not like the whole momma stearing wheel with the air bags and such Modded 88 GT 5 speed is for a man that wants to have fun and be bad. The trans am is too clean cut for me.

LOL DUDE!!! It was just owned by a camero!! It looked just like a civic! That Z28 pulled away from it like no thing, It didnt even hang with it in the rear... almost like the EVO wasnt trying. But we all know it was! LOL

BUT DUDE if they did that race from a dig it would have been a differant story lol...and besides the evo wasnt made for drag racing...its more like a porshe as in its a racetrack car u gotta love it for what it is not what it isnt...just like mustangs

Not really a weight reduction, Mitsu is offering a second model to the EVO line up, it's called the RS, it shaves about 150 lbs off the car, no power locks or windows, no ac, no wing, no graphics, no sunroof, etc. That car will hit 13.1 easy.

I heard that mitsu is offering the EVO MR...I saw the specs on it and it does 0-60 in around 4.2 and 1/4 12.9...it was about 300lbs less

I was gonna get the Fox after I had the LT1, prior to the LS1. It was running 7.70's all motor here at our local track...it was driven on the street, but just wasn't practical. I REALLY wanted this car, guy couldn't get the title for it so we didn't buy it.

LOL okay, but "what I posted was true" too. At least that's how you come off when somebody chimes in (totally peacefully), and you try to shut them down w/ something like "before you start running your mouth." Don't be a dick for no reason, and you won't get called an asshole anymore. ..... (at least by me)

Thanks for the compliment mate. We have some Ford guys on LS1Tech that are pretty bad ass too....
Hey '98, how high did you go on your stall? I'm still in the undecided box on that one. I think a 2800 would be plenty for me, but you know how the craze is for the 3500-4000's. LOL
