I think the new edges don't get as much credit as they should. While I am absolutely in love with my 05 mustang I have to admit that the new edge design might be the best design Ford ever made. When I first got my 2000 mustang the feeling I got everytime I saw it was far greater than the feeling I get when I see my 05.. maybe it's my age. And maybe 5 years later after seeing the same car everyday I got used to the new edge body style and it didn't do it for me anymore.... but almos t2 years later after getting rid of teh car, looking back, I have to give Ford props. I really loved that design, it had such a slick and mean look to it. I almost miss my 2000 now. I think Ford will have a tough time topping their 99-04 body style come redesign and innovative time. (PS I Don't count the s197 as a totally new body style due to its retro look... it's a halfway new body style to me but I still think its great :)

Yeah I agree that the new edge body style was great. But I just
can't seem to get aways from the new retro look. I suppose it just depends on
your preference. I wish I new what they were gonna do next. I don't like either of them
more or less. I think I like both of them the same.

Yep i think my 00 looks way better than the 05, but once in a while i see picture of some nasty S197s ...it just take a bit more modding and money to get them to look mean.
