Damn it's a small world! I used to play hockey at the boys club. I live about 5 minutes from there. I also have an 02 GT as you can see. You should pick a Wednesday or Saturday to come up sometime and I'll take you to the track here.Dan02GT37850.7052430556
i was dissapointed by the performance of several late model SS's at the track this weekend. i think 1 of them was hitting low 13's.
Were those times corrected and were they getting traction?
An Z28 SS & TA WS6 can touch 12.8's on radials man....

Silverbullet: Take a look at the pictures of my car in my photo album. The link is at the top of your page.
It's called Lebanon Valley Dragway www.dragway.com . It's an NHRA leased track too, the track condition & prep is absolutely phenomenal. That's the track I go to!!
13.8@104 mph, and I have minor bolt-on's & terrible traction. I'm having alittle trouble getting her into 3rd, I almost always miss it - I think I'm going to invest in a short throw shifter soon.

def. headers first.. i would try to save up and do the headers, x or h , and mufflers at the same time... its really easier that way.. hard to do but def. easier all things considered. maf and tb would also be good adds with some pulleys and timing adj. you could significantly close the gap on the ss.. port and polish the heads, intake plen. oh and one more thing,,, probably most important gears, gears, gears

Yea...definately 4.10s. I was cruising at 85 mph and only kicking 2100 rpms. Not too tall for the 5 speed but definately wakes the hell up outta the stang. Try racing with traction control off also. I tried it at the track and only ran 15.1 stock with TC on. With it turned off i ran 14.4 consistant.

TRAC CONTROL IS GREAT FOR SNOW ICE AND RAIN.. ROTTEN FOR TRAC.... ITS A POWER EATER AND WILL KILL YOUR LAUNCHES... I WONDER WHAT I WOULD PULL WITH 4.10 AT 80 ANYONE... I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO GET 4.10 THX
