Default Springs and Shocks

I have an '05 Vert w/Hellwig front & rear sway bars. The car has 27k miles on it and Im looking to tighten her up a bit. Im not going to race but would like to be able to carve up some curves. So far I seem to see people adding Eibach Pro-kit with some kind of Tokico Shocks. Although I want to make the car tighter I also do not want to knock my teeth out on the sometimes crappy Ohio roads. Any suggestions on which combo's to use?
Thanks,
Jim

According to Steeda in reference to lowering an S197 using their Sport Springs (which I believe are equivalent to the Eibach Pro):

"The stock dampers--struts and shocks--are pretty aggressive. They're light-years better than the stock dampers on the SN-95 Mustang. Now, for the guy who is going to do open-track events, he needs to go ahead and get D-spec Tokico struts and shocks."

So, with 27K miles, replacing the stock dampers with new stock ones might be okay (the cost of GT takeoffs with less than 20 miles of service is cheap); otherwise, looks like the D-spec Tokico may be your next choice.

Hope this helps.

I just put in the Eibach Pro-System (Prokit springs, Eibach tuned shocks and struts) in my Vert today. Unbelievable difference! I actually made my self queazy flying through the twisties so fast. I could easily take the corners 25-30 mph faster than they were posted. $1,000 installed is spendy, but for my open track event next week it's worth it.
