Anyone know where I might be able to locate some? This is not the standard grey foam tape that comes with most kits, it's black and has higher bond strength.

you can find them at any auto store, like pep boys, autozone, o'riellys, etc... they have many kinds of 3M tapes and adhesives/glues.
