Default 06 V6 vs. GTO 5.7L and SRT4

Alright, so all my friends are into cars... and it happens to be 1 has a SRT4 with 260whp and one has a GTO 5.7 with a catback...

they have been talking a bit of **** about the V6... not much, but it was there and i was interested!

I ran my 75 shot because my 100 shot never got the correct tune it needed... and i wasn't risking my engine just to win...

First race
From dig:
SRT-4 vs. V6 Stang(75shot)... lotsa first gear wheel spin... I beat him by 3/4 of a car

Second race
From 15mph roll:
more wheel spin... and i got a fender on him by the top of 4th

Third race
From Dig:
5.7L GTO vs. V6 Stang(75 shot)... Both wheel spin a bit...pretty even till the top of 4th where i pull 1/4 car (car started sputtering in 3rd)

Fourth race
From Dig:
car sputtered like mad and i completely lost... stopped in a parking lot... fuel line leaking... fixed it... but end of racing for the day...

Oh don't forget, the V6 stangs have open diffs... so with 325lbs tq, it is tough to grip... even on 275s

next time it will be a 100shot...

GTO: 1 (lucky) V6: 1

SRT4: 0 V6:2

thanks

chrisk

the 5.7 gto's run low 13s on a really good day, with the manual trans. the autos are 14s all day long.

Street racing at less than 100 mph = what's the point?[&:]

Heh.. im not here to be ridiculed... and i wont even respond to fazm or tommy... its not like i did this in an unsafe school zone... and why? heh why race at all ever... if not for fun... i'm just letting everyone know if you dont like it, please dont respond.... BTW... i went to the track to tday they wouldnt let me in, it was a "sport compact day" and yet they let a f'in buick regal in... anyway... dont need that crap...

well 5oh... look at it this way... hey weighs about 4-500 lbs more than me and makes only about 30-35 more HP... thats how.... they make 300 hp and 310tq at the wheels... on avg.

i made 263 and 325... and im not here to BS... but if you must call BS... it is obviously your call...

I went against a 5.7 GTO with automatic tranny in my car a while back (I BARELY nudged past her... yes her)

I believe it if its a 5.7 GTO, maybe not a 6.0.

And street racing is one of those things thats okay if you minimize/eliminate risk to others (I.E. doing it out in the middle of nowhere).

Top of 4th in a 5.7 GTO is 134mph. You raced beyond that? Wow . . .
