Default preped and unpreped track

Is there a big difference into goign to a preped and unpreped track. what actually do they do to prep the track.??? here i think its 15 for unpreped and 30 for preped????

Preped means that they spray VHT and drag the track with a rubber covered sled of sorts, it will make the line very sticky. The problem is that cars with regular street tires will peel up all the rubber off the surface of the track and make bald spots, which is very frustrating for those of us who go to the track with the proper tires.

i c, so since im runnign street tires my times would increase and it would be worth paying the extra 15 for since last tiem i spinned forever..

You should do a little better but street tires never hook very well the the track.
