What's the stupidest question people have asked regarding your Mustang or any part thereof?

Here's mine.
So, I'm selling a stock 9-inch Ford rear end on fleaBay and somebody emails me the question, "Is that a 4-lug or 5-lug axle?" I felt like answering, "It's a 4-lug. Ford put 9-inch rears on only the badass inline 6s."

Well, this was not a question but it falls under the "ate up with the dumb ass" catagory. I was looking for new wheels several months ago at a local tire store. The guy asked me the lug pattern which led to his expertise with the 4 and 5 lug differences. He told me that the 5 lugs were the V8 cars and the 4 lug wher the 6 cyl and 4 cyl cars. He then was telling me about a rare 69 Mustang Ford built with a 4 cylinder engine. They were worth their weight in gold. Very rare. They built them because of the gas shortages in the late 60's. What gas shortages in the 60's???? I remember them in the 70's and I also remember this guy was a dumb ass.

Most of the questions I have heard involved Pontiacs, you guys wouldnt get them so I wont go there. ;) I have been told "Nice Camaro" when I am driving a Cougar, ok so they both start with C. Also had someone a while back who swore up and down that the FE engine series wasnt a big block. He said only the 429/460 was and FEs were never big blocks. Its always something like that, people say they have a BOSS 302 and its just a 2v 302 from a Granada, but it is a BOSS.

In the "Strange but not stupid" book, on the "I WISH IT WAS MINE" page, there is a old dump truck with a BOSS 429 in it up here. Yeah a real plugs through the valve covers HUGE engine with FORD on it in a freakin dump truck. He has had it for years, so when the engine in the truck went, he chucked the BOSS in it, since it sorta bolted up and all. Yeah I know what you are thinking... Yeah I need to get some pics, but he wont let me near it again.

Most of the stupidest questions about Mustangs I've heard have been asked by me. Someone asked me the other day (my hood was up and the carb was off...intake exposed) if it was a 2 or 4v. A ricer I know suggested that I put on new carbon fiber panels so that I can street race.

Just because the plugs are through the valve covers doesn't mean it is a hemi. The hemi has a hemispherical combustion chamber in the heads. The ford flathead wasn't a hemi
