I had a B&M shifter a couple years ago in my vette that rattled. Now I have a rattle in my Roush short shifter in my stang...Anybody got advice how to eliminate this.Turning up the stereo helps and/or keeping my hand on it also helps. It's not a big deal driving in the City but out on the hiway it's more pronounced and aggravating.Any suggestions?BTW this shifter is great to drive with.Very precise.
I had the roush shifter in my car and pulled it out because of the rattle. roush knows about this, but they will not fix it. I tried tightening everything up, but still rattled. pull it out and get the saleen adapter or the pro 5.0.

Another option is to go with another shifter. I've got a MGW and it is the best shifter I've ever had. It is quite and has a lot of adjustment. Well worth it.
Thankyou for your replies.I was going to ask a mechanic at the dealership (to doublecheck it.Lately my reverse has been trickier to engage)at my next oil change Tuesday...
