Starting today Ford is offering 0 down 0% financing for 72 mos on new '06 Mustang GTs! I just traded mine for a black auto GT with tan leather, 17" machined wheels, side airbags, etc. and my payment is only $2.00 more a month. Hurry if you want one!
That's fine if you want an Auto ... bet you it's tough finding a 5-speed GT. I heard a Ford Ad yesterday on the Radio ... they were pushing V6 Auto's .... no mention of 5-speed cars having the incentive in the ad although I am sure they do. I have a feeling dealers will learn from 2006 and order more 5-speed cars than automatics. Do an inventory search on Ford.Com and you will see plenty of Automatic 2006 Mustangs sitting on dealer lots ...

Wow that seems appealing. Anyone know about what we should expect from a tradein? Maybe I should do the same.. like 27k miles though so I'm not sure what I'd get.
The dealer said that they have to order seven automatics to get one five-spd car. The supply of five-speeds in general is limited.
What a Stupid Rule that is ... looks like they order 7 V6 autos so they can get a GT 5-speed. Guess that is why the majority of GT's sold are 5-speeds and V6's are Auto's ...
Congrats on the new GT ... plus you got the 5/60 warranty to boot ...

sweet looking car btw :)
I got almost $16K for mine. It had no options and 23K miles.
Aghh thats a really good price. I have to resist tho. I really really want to get a vert for my next car. Maybe I'll wait til next summer and hope for the same deals and get a windveil blue vert.
My new baby! Now's the time to buy! *Thanks Rygen! *
Congrats!! Shes beautiful. Awesome timing too

The CFO (my wife, LOL) already agreed we can get the Boss when it comes out, so I will wait for that. Though waiting is hard.
rofl you are lucky you have someone to control you. I wish my girlfriend would do the same cause I'd REALLY like to wait for a Boss. All she has to say is "DO IT!!!" She loves the verts and really isn't fond of mineral grey so..
Hrmm... I have an 06 V6, not even 3 months old yet, 2k miles on it... Wonder what the difference in payments would be? The only other thing I would have to worry about is the insurance hike, I'm only 22...

It's not just about payments..... It's what you owe in total... I have 18,000 left on my loan. I can blow my car out for, maybe $20,000, put $2000 down on a new GT vert and then owe like $29000. That's still owing and paying $11000 more.... it's just as simple as looking at your payment.
I honestly have no idea what your credit score has to be. You could run the numbers and see if the dealer can help you or not. to me it was definitely worth a try!
