They're still honoring as of today. I just signed the paperwork on a new 06 GT Vert. Pick it up tomorrow. This is a great deal for anyone interested. The dealer I went to is also a Saleen dealer, and the deal even stands on the Saleen's. He has 6 Saleens left in stock I believe. Campbell Ford in Niles, MI. Ask for Ron Ward.

I just bought my V6 3 weeks ago and was sick to hear about the zero percent interest deal. I probably still would've opted for the 6 but would be paying about $50/month less. I've been pissed about it ever since I saw the commercial!

Not sure where everyone is that's looking for one, but I just did a quick search and there's 5 '06 GT manual transmissions within 25 miles of me. 3 Torch Red , 1 Screamin' Yellow and 1 Windveil and I'm in Northwest Arkansas. Come and get 'em! HA

So I called my cousin who works at a large Ford dealership in Houston to see what he could do for me. I was unsure if I could get the zero percent through Ford credit since I have a repo with my ex-wife. I made the mistake of co-signing a loan while were were married, and it was through Ford credit! I got the call back and I'm approved for zero percent! My credit score is better than I thought! I told the dealership that I would only buy a GT if it was the exact same setup as I have now. I am going there this Saturday to have the car appraised. In the mean time, they are going to search for the GT I want. It looks like I may have lower payments than what I have now for my V6. I called my bank and they said the best they could do is 5.99%, I like 0% better!
BTW I just found out that with the side airbags, ABS, active alarm, etc that my GT came with the insurance is actually lower by $28.50 per mo.! I'm happier than a pig in slop!
My dealer called me this week, wanted to tell me about the 0% interest and 72 month financing on their cars. So, I decided to have a chat with him. So first I asked him what mustangs he had on the lot, he said as soon as the 0% deal came out, it wiped them out on V6 stangs. He said all of them are gone, all of them!!! So then he said I got 3 GT's left, all deluxe packages, coupes....he said he could get a vert if in a few days, I was like, how much for the GT's, he said they were all bare bone.....26K. Much better than when I looked last time.
So then I asked him, what about the Shelby or Boss waiting list. He said he didn't know about the Boss yet, he was going to inquire on it and get back to me asap. I told him once he had a pre-order going on those, I would be in. So then he asked what about the Shelby, I asked how much. He said right now, they are going for 65-69K. Holy crap!!!! I told him no thanks. He agreed. He said it might be the area, people in the DC area have too much money.
So here is where it gets fun...he said why are you not interested in a GT if you got the V6. I said honestly, I don't want to take a step down and when I go to a V8, I want a larger engine than the 4.6 and something I can really build up for the track. He was like, ok. I said, to get me in a GT, it would have to be way lower than 25k, cause I'm gonna pull the engine and build up the block as an alternative to going with a Boss. He said he can't go below 25K, because of the deal they are offering, cars are going fast. I was like ok. So then he goes, wait a minute, you said take a step back, no offense, but the V6 is quick little engine, but its not a 4.6 V8. LOL. I simply stated "I run 12's!" He was like, "what did you say?" I said "I run 12's". He said, what, how!!! NO way!!! How is a V6 running 12's. I havent heard of that before. So then I go "turbo charged", he was listening now. He was like what company, I said "powerhouse411.com". He was typing in the background. He was shocked!!! Simply shocked. He was like, a street driven V8 with full street trim in the 10's!!! A V6 in the 11's!!! Both in street trim. He was like, "ok, I see you are not the tpyical buyer, when the boss is available for pre-order, I will let you know, maybe with the Boss and Shelby out...the prices will come down" then he goes "you going to put a turbo on the Boss", I said "as soon as PH can do it, there will be a turbo on that car when I get it". He was like, "don't worry, I will definitely call you back".
Funny thing is, how all the V6s went like hot cakes on this deal....and now they are almost out of GT's. Wow! I'm glad to know there will be more mustangs out there, keeping the legend alive.

I am not sure if you saw it in the 2009 forum ( check link below) but boomer posted reporting the 5.4 is scraped and it looks like it could be a Hurricane motor ( name changed now from Hurricane motors now called the Boss motors?) which coincides with my post in the other Boss thread (2005-2008 forum) reporting July 27, 06 it will be a Hurricane/Boss motor 6.2L. I know not 100% proof but it is looking more and more possibly a 5.8 or 6.2L. :)
The thing I am thinking we can order 2008's starting next June 07 but have a feeling its going to be second run model which means around Nov 07 or later hope I am wrong.
For those of you asking about trade-in values, keep in mind that dealerships like to play games with this. You have to negotiate the car price AND The trade-in price. You can't look at one without the other, it doesn't tell you the whole story. IE, you might think someone got a killer deal on trade-in, but they may in fact have overpaid for the new car. I got my 07 for 100 bucks under invoice, so the dealer had no wiggle room on my trade-in. I got something like 17k on it and it was extremely well optioned (28,300 sticker price originally). In short I took a bath on it! But their offer did check out against KBB.com, so the bath I took was not the dealership's doing, it is just the unfortunate reality of depreciation.
Congrats to everyone making the jump, I really love my 07 GT Of course it needs louder exhaust, and an intake/ tune, and this and that and the other... the mod bug doesn't go away when you switch cars
So when I go to the dealer this weekend, I wonder how much hassle I will get with trying to trade in my V6. That will be the stopping point for me. I owe 19,000$, but I am going to cash in my extended warranty, which is 2,000$. So I am hoping to get at least 15K$ to 16K$ for my car. If they don't want to give me what I want, I can just wait until next year.
They gave me $16k for my 06 V6 pony package in a manual. You might be able to get close to 15k for it. Mine was a total lemon and they knew it so they didn't give me as much as they normally would have - at least that's what the salesman said (so you can probably take that w/ a grain of salt). You should get BB trade-in for it.

Go to KBB.com and plug in your car, all its options and the mileage and it will give you a good estimate of what the trade-in value is. Dealerships don't use KBB, they use another book that gives slightly lower values. But usually there's negotiation room there. Don't expect to get over KBB trade-in though.
