Default 2000 Mustang won't start

I have 2000 Mustang 3.8L. A few weeks ago, it was backed up into in the parking lot and since then I have been having trouble getting it started. It wouldn't crank over. If I did get it to crank over, it would be during the morning or at night when it was cool outside. I tried resetting the fuel pump switch a couple days ago and this only made it worse. Now the car won't get any gas, causing the car not to start at all. Can anyone help me out on this???

Not cranking over... sounds electrical
Does it crank over fast or slow?

Right now the engine isn't cranking. When I try to start it up, I would have to say that it tries to crank over fast. But its not getting any gas now after resetting the switch. I dont know what to do other than taking it in to the shop and spend hundreds of dollars.

Don't be so quick to jump to the fuel PUMP

If I was you I'd go...

1. Fuel filter

2. battery

3. starter

IMO most likely the starter...but I always like to go from easiest to hardest. fuel filter is probably like 10 bucks...battery maybe 50 bucks...& starter is just a pain in the a$$ (i would guess...never replaced teh starter...BUT IF YOU DO...Don't forget to take off the battery terminals and cover them.)

read owners manual on resetting the switch sometimes you have to do more than you think to reset it, after that i would check the fuel pump and also if you may have think you hit the gas line somewhere backing up check that also you could have crimped it but thats iffy, i would check the fuel pump and fuses good luck
