I have a 94 mustang with 99,000 miles on it. The previous owner has been getting it changed at firestone for the past 50,000 miles I believe they use Kendal oil. Wallmart seems cheaper, they let you choose the oil and its more convient for me to go there. Where should I go and what oil should I use for best performance and longjevity? I dont want to pay extra for the synethic or what ever it is. Thanks

then I wouldn't worry about it....your too cheap and too lazy for a stang
RE: Wallmart for an oil change? What oil works best
All certified oils will be just fine. What's more important is how often you change your oil. Even w/non-synthetics, if you change your oil every 3-5k miles, you should have no problem getting at least 200k miles w/no oil leaks. Providing you're chaging all the other fluids as well. I wouldn't take my car to Walmart. Do it yourself, even my wife can change the oil in her car. Though, I'm still the one who has to do it.

Like these guys have said, I would buy the oil, filter, etc. from Wal-mart, but I would change it yourself. I wouldn't even let a Wal-mart employee open the freakin door to my Stang.
